摘要：
The function of forest legacy program for the conservation of forest is discussed. The land use changes are dynamic with the exception of urbanization and changes occur to and from cropland, pasture land and forestland. The forest legacy programs provides federal funding for upto 75% of the cost of conservation easements on forestlands located in approved forest legacy areas.
