摘要
After discussing the deposit, the author indicates that in a mining field of about 50 ha seam, caolinous sand was mined by using the chamber method with abandoned pillars. An extraction of 60% sand from seam II or 20% of the overall reserves from this field was reached. Following this, after having described the physical and mechanical features of the ore seams and the host rock, a safety plate was provided over the stopes and three alternatives for the open pit mining of the remaining reserves were designed.
