摘要
The magnetic sedimentation of suspended particles in a magnetized spherical-granule bed is discussed with reference to the magnetic susceptibility effect. The log sedimentation coefficient is directly proportional to the susceptibility of the particles; the relationship can be used to predict the degree of suspension purification or conversely to determine the average susceptibility of the suspended particles.
