摘要：
This paper introduces an expert system for supporting the operators of a substation. It plays an important role in an electric power system to assure a stable supply of electricity. A study of potential applications of knowledge engineering in the operation of electric power systems was started in 1985. Up to the present, prototyping has been repeated five times. The paper mainly explains the internal configuration of the latest prototype.
