摘要
The authors assess the potential radioecological consequences resulting from an expanded nuclear industry in the Federal Republic of Germany for a period of about 100 years. The potential spatial total-body dose, and the expected time-dependent dose distribution for the whole population due to radioactive gaseous releases are described considering contributions due to **3H, **8**5Kr and **1**3**3Xe. The results are suitable for indicating the long-term trend of the degree of retention of radioactivity necessary. Moreover, a risk estimation in the form of the expected number of cancer cases is assessed, including effects from aqueous discharges and globally distributed nuclides.
