摘要：
The background of OSHA health standards and the trend of presently proposed standards is discussed. An attempt is made to explain why potential health hazards engender so much more interest and controversy than safety standards. Appropriate industry response to OSHA citations is suggested, and a long range program of definitive epidemiology is recommended.
