Synthesis and characterization of polyaniline doped by Cu-sulfophthalocyanine

By using the sodium Cu-sulfophthalocyanine as raw material, Cu-sulfophthalocyanine was synthesized here. Polyaniline in eigen state was doped with Cu-sulfophthalocyanine in water phase and oil phase respectively, and the photoconductive polymer-polyaniline containing phthalocyanine was obtained. The polymer has high solubility and fine ability of forming film with its conductivity reaching 8 S/cm. The chemical structure of the polymer was identified by IR. The analysis result from UV absorption showed that the absorption of polyaniline doped with Cu-sulfophthalocyanine is very intensive in the range of visible and near infrared wavelength, hence it is possible to increase significantly the photoconductivity of the polymer.
