摘要
Rephosphorised steels can be readily welded to give welds of adequate strength under both static and dynamic conditions of loading. Best results are obtained if larger electrode force levels, longer weld times and larger electrode diameter than normally recommended for mild steel are used. To be accepted on the shop floor, it is recommended that slightly larger welds than normally recommended for mild steel are developed in order to produce the required plug size of 5 ROOT t on peel testing.
