摘要
Some equations for performance measures such as throughput, response time and utilization of multiprocessor systems are derived by applying the new method for queueing networks known as ″Operational Analysis″ . The application of this method is shown by solving a single server model. To use this method for multiprocessor systems, the queue and the device have to be considered separately. These results are then extended to multiprocessor systems with different priorities. The performance measures are obtained separately for each priority class. Examples illustrate the formulas.
