摘要：
The use of thin-layer chromatography has enabled the bulk of the benzenepolycarboxylic acids to be isolated from the water-soluble polycarboxylic acids (PCAs). A chromato-mass-spectrometric analysis of the PCAs has been performed. Other water-soluble polycarboxylic acids that were identified include mono- and polycyclic acids of mixed alkyl-aromatic and heterocyclic nature, and also acids with hydroxy- and carbonyl-containing functional groups.
