Maximization of the signal-passive interference ratio in optimization of antenna array excitation

Antenna array is considered which operates in modes of radiation and receiving. The modes are typical for time superposition of radar reflections for different distances in conditions of continuous and quasicontinuous radiation. The analytical optimization is executed of array excitation in the radiation mode. The analysis permits to present optimal excitation in a compact obvious form. The results of numerical calculations are given. It is shown that proposed optimization provides to increase the signal-interference ratio by 14 dB in comparison with the known method for uniform cophased excitation of an antenna array.
