摘要
A special, protective decarburizing atmosphere wet hydrogen (hydrogen saturated with water vapor at room temperature at a dewpoint of 50 to 60 F) and wet forming gas (a mixture of about 5- 10% hydrogen and 90- 95% nitrogen at a dewpoint of 50 to 60 F) is utilized to heat treat electronic components. Advantages include an approximate 31% savings as compared with cracking ammonia, elimination of high-maintenance generators and dryers, reduced space requirements and improved quality control.
