An ion-selective membrane electrode made of polystyrene and insoluble calcium fluoride has been developed which makes it possible to automatically measure the calcium ion concentration in the liquid phase of flotation slurries in the concentration range from 10** minus **6 to 10** minus **3 M at pH values up to 12 with an error not exceeding 8%.
