摘要
This study is concerned with theoretical and experimental consideration of turbidity currents which are due to turbid water inflow into reservoirs. Some experiments on turbidity currents are carried out, and many interesting phenomena are clarified by measurements of velocity and density distribution, and by photographing the state of currents. Theories of velocity and density distributions of uniform underflow are developed by considering the mixing length distribution and some assumptions.
