摘要：

A method of approximate estimation of petroleum quality is described. This method permits numerical evaluation of petroleum quality depending on the content of fuels and lubricating oils in them, taking account of the present-day level of petroleum products. The numerical evaluations of petroleum quality are termed the fuel and fuel-lubricating oil indices of petroleum quality. Quality indices for a number of petroleum types are presented.
