Optimal Planning of the Production Program of Oil Refineries of the Ministry of Petroleum and Chemical Industry of Azerbaijanian SSR.

Specific features of a group consisting of four refineries are analyzed. It is found that there are favorable conditions for optimizing their production plans. The mathematical model of a group of plants is described. Actual results of optimization of the production program for a group of refineries are presented and the resultant economic effect is pointed out. Concrete calculations in accordance with a mathematical model of the complex are carried out. Specific features of the Baku group of refineries are taken into account and transport costs are neglected in view of the short distances between the refineries. Variations in tapping coefficients are permitted in the model.
