Some progresses in mantle fluid studies

Mantle fluid is a mixture of gases and volatiles at equilibrium with host mantle ambience. The studies pertinent to mantle fluid are always going on, for its specific geochemical proverty and geological behaviour. Especially, progresses in where studies have been found since 1980s. The composition, origin, formation mechanism, movement methods and differentiation of mantle fluid are shown in this paper. Then the relationships of mantle fluid to mantle metasomatism, magmatism and mineralization are discussed and some latest research methods and laboratory samples are summarized.
