Viscosity of Systems Forming During Melting of a Mixture of Monosubstituted Ammonium Orthophosphate and Ammonium Nitrate.

It is shown that the viscosity of a molten mixture of monosubstituted ammonium orthophosphate and ammonium nitrate increases with an increase in the concentration of dehydrated forms of phosphate in the mixture. An equation is proposed which relates the viscosity of the melt to the temperature, the N:P//2O//5 ratio in the melt, and the quantity of dehydrated forms of phosphate.
