摘要
This report begins with a consideration of the scope of the topic, followed by a statement of the main objective. Because the subject is so vast, a generalized methodology had to be developed which was implemented in relation to one representative sector, that concerning hydrocarbon resources, because of the amount of information available on it for analysis. A worked example on surface support for seabed survey was then used to verify the approach. The main conclusions drawn are discussed.
