摘要
It is usually considered that a considerable effect on pH value is exerted by ammonia and carbon dioxide concentrations, the effect of the latter being strongly predominant. It is of importance to trace the true values of hydrogen ion concentrations over the entire condensate-feed circuit of a supercritical power generating unit with different concentrations of ammonia and CO//2. Since the absolute values of concentrations of electrolytes in the feedwater of a generating unit are very low the activity coefficients are taken by us to be equal to unity within the entire range of concentrations and temperatures considered.
