Infrared imaging is a noninstrusive, nondestructive technology, which can be used to detect such problems as air leakage, faulty bearings, boiler tube blockage, and electrical problems. It can also be used for the detection and measurement of heat loss, thermal plumes, and can be used to estimate life expectancy.
