摘要
A spherical charge of finite radius in a compressible plastic uniform and isotropic medium that fills all space is instantaneously converted into a high-pressure and high-temperature gas, without a change in volume. A shock arises in the plastic medium as a result of the explosion. The propagation law for this wave, as well as the pressure, velocity, and temperature fields are found. Many types of soil, for example, can be regarded as compressible plastic media in which shock waves arise are shown.
