Fast fourier transform programs for the EAI 640 digital computer

This report presents a set of new programs for the computation of the Fast Fourier transform on an EAI 640 digital computer. In order to have a self- contained report on these Fast Fourier transform programs, a short summary of the properties of the discrete Fourier transform and the development of the Fast Fourier transform algorithm that is used in the digital computer programs for computing this transform, is also provided.
