摘要
The development of a gas-liquid layer in a gas-melt system differs from that occurring in low-temperature liquids in that the gas content averaged by volume rises sharply at low gas velocities and the rise in phi is insignificant at higher velocities. A study of the gas content of a two-phase layer consisting of gas and a K//2O-V//2O//5 melt as a function of gas velocity, height of the original liquid layer, and the temperature in a bubbling reactor enabled the authors to determine the boundaries of the hydrodynamic modes and derive equations for the calculation of the gas content averged by volume. The authors determined that the gas content of the melt increases when V//2O//5 is reduced to V//2O//4 in the reaction portion of the reaction-regeneration cycle. Regeneration of the melt restores the value of phi to its original level.
