摘要
Nearly all nuclear power plants either in operation or under construction in Japan use light-water reactors. For this type of power stations, the design technology of their concrete structures has been nearly completed in Japan. The present status of the design and the problems revealed in the design of the concrete structures for BWRs in particular are described. The concrete structures for light-water nuclear power stations can be grouped in reactor housing, turbine building, water intake, etc. The design phase cover the following items: design standards, aseismatic design, load condition, method of analysis, component design and allowable stress.
