Previous investigations have proven that the complex [Mn(III)Mn(IV)(μ-0)2 (μ-CH3COO)L] (ClO4-)2 with L = 1,2-bis-(4,7-dimethyl-1,4,7-triazacylononel-yl)-ethane is a powerful catalyst. In this study, the stability of the catalyst and the effect of recycling the filtrates of a catalyzed P stage are investigated. Recycling of the filtrate of a PCAT stage to another P stage does not result in a secondary catalytic effect. On the other hand, no negative impact of filtrate recycling is found.
