A closed queuing network (QN) that simulates a multiprogrammed computer with two streams of tasks is investigated. Recursive formulas are obtained for the stationary probabilities, these being expressed in terms of the probabilities p//i//0 (i equals 0, 1,. . . , n) determined by solving a system of n plus 1 equations. It is shown how to simplify the calculations in particular cases.
