摘要：
This paper deals with the necessity and significance of developing a safety management information system for railway transportation in mining districts in China. A case study is made of the railway transportation system in Yanzhou Mining Group. This paper describes the prototype railway transportation safety information system commissioned in Yanzhou Mining Group.
