China is richly endowed with tungsten resources and it was not therefore surprising to find that there are a substantial number of plants in most of the country's provinces which are devoted to the production of tungsten-based products and tungsten carbides. The plant has a current workforce of over 3000 and a capacity to produce around 3000 tonnes per year of powders including ammonium paratungstate, tungsten oxide, tungsten and tungsten carbide powders, Mo base powders and tantalum/niobium powders.
