The article describes the design and operation of a machine system for machining three parts of the housing of a bench drilling machine. The components of the machine system, namely, a drilling head rotary-indexing machine, machining centers, and equipment for automatic workpiece transfer, can be combined in various arrangements to suit the various manufacturing requirements.
