Using the method of gas/liquid chromatography, aromatic, paraffinous, isoprenous hydrocarbons of West-Tebuk oils of different age were investigated. It is found that differences in the hydrocarbon composition of oils are not of genetic nature but testify to the effect of secondary factors, mainly hypergenic ones.
