Part 9 introduces two programs for evaluating gas producing reservoirs. Program B-7 generates estimates of annual volumes of lease natural gas liquids based on projection of annual gas production. Program B-9 computes the gas recovery factors from porosity, temperature, water saturation, initial pressure, standard pressure, abandonment pressure and 2 factor considerations. An estimate of residual gas saturation for a water-drive recovery factor is computed from porosity.
