摘要：
Beams of free electrons travelling in a vacuum tube have been known since the beginning of this century. Furthermore, the so-called electron-optics providing the means for forming and focusing such beams, in quite an analogous way to light optics, were already developed theoretically and practically in the 1930's which led to the construction of the electron-microscope - a tool without which modern science and technology hardly can be imagined.
