摘要
A study is conducted to evaluate the effects of cyclic pressure variations in mixture strength on the performance of small gasoline engines. It was found that these engines suffer from poor mixing control which lowers their efficiency and lean operating limits. By controlling variations in mixture quality the performance of these engines can be upgraded to yield better fuel economy.
