摘要
The purpose of this work was to acquire a better understanding of the blown-film process. The objectives were to generate a broad data base of velocity, strain, strain-rate, temperature, and cooling-rate histories above the air ring under varied processing conditions for both linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE). We found that LLDPE and LDPE experience comparable rate of strain under similar processing conditions.
