摘要
Microstrip line structure with backside aperture is developed for designing low-loss and high-impedance transmission line based multilayer integrated circuits. Applying a so-called 'short-open calibration' (SOC) technique that is self-contained in our full-wave method of moments (MoM), we can formulate a unified equivalent CAD circuit model that is able to exhibit electrical properties of the proposed structure. The developed CAD model and structure are effectively used to design a multi-stage microstrip low-pass filter. Predicted filtering characteristics are well confirmed by our measurements.
