摘要
The composition of Haynes alloy No, 188 (20- 24 Cr, 20- 24 Ni, 13- 16 W, 0. 20- 0. 50 Si, 0. 05- 0. 15 C, 0. 03- 0. 15 La, and up to 3 Fe and 1. 25 Mn) was developed through the application of advanced metallurgical and solidstate principles. The result is a balance of high strength, formability, weldability, oxidation resistance, and retention of properties after long exposure to high temperatures. Many jet engine, aerospace, nuclear, and chemical process applications are foreseen, It is available in various forms and as a sheet material, for example, it can be applied in the burner and afterburner sections of advanced jet engines.
