摘要
Pennzoil Co. 's newer platforms in the Gulf of Mexico are built to handle oil and gas production as safely as possible. All platforms erected in recent years meet USGS specifications for safety and pollution control and go several steps further to prevent accidents and keep trouble confined to harmless areas. Main feature of these newer platforms is a bulkhead extending from one side of a platform to the other - from floor to ceiling - physically to separate wellheads from all production-handling equipment.
