The printing mechanism of the HASLER SP 300 teleprinter was specially developed to make the most of the diverse possibilities offered by modern microprocessor technology. Beside a description of the basic requirements which had thereby to be fulfilled, an insight is given into techniques for driving stepping motors, along with a functional description of the special ink-ribbon system.
