摘要
The Advanced Technology Fuel Cell Program objective is to establish the technology and design base for fuel cell powerplants with reduced capital cost, a 7500 BTU/kWH heat rate and fuel capability extending to Number 2 fuel oil. Molten carbonate, advanced phosphoric acid fuel cells, and advanced fuel processing concepts are being investigated and approaches to the use of coal with fuel cell powerplants are under evaluation.
