Revision of damages with use of display units in an insurance company in case of automobile-, liability- And accident-insurance

Today there is a great number of insurance companies who regard as a matter of self-evidence to use display units in order to rationalize processes. The insurance company Öffentliche Versicherung Braunschweig made inquiries concerning possibilities of the use of display units already in 1964. First of all it was necessary to cope with all problems coming up to EDP, and because of the scanty software-support in programming, it was possible only in November 1971 that the first five display units were installed. By this means, however, the base war created for an information system extended to all branches o) the company.
