摘要：
The Royal Australian Air Force's (RAAF) and an Australian Army training area will receive major upgrades to cater for inventory and force structure changes. RAAF will undergo an AUD285 million redevelopment in preparation for the arrival of five new A330 multi-role tanker transport (MRTT) aerial refuelling aircraft from EADS-CASA in 2008-09. Amberley will receive new aircraft parking bays, a new maintenance hangar and accommodation. It will also increase the scope the combined arms training for armored and mechanized formations and allow for larger joint live firing excercises, including delivery of air-to-ground ordnance.
