摘要
A major factor affecting any product development schedule is rework. According to software project management studies, rework is implicit in software estimating techniques, but is not explicit. The amount of rework and the manner in which it is treated are very important factors in determining software schedules and cost. An example of how a process implementation can affect schedule and cost is presented, as well as how simulation can help determine that impact.
