摘要
With the growing sophistication of today's electronic systems, backplanes, P/C boards and cable/harnesses have increased in complexity. A variety of equipment is available for testing these interconnection networks. The author discusses the technologies and philosophies employed in the automatic test equipment (ATE) used for verifying interconnection-network integrity. The discussion compares test speed, reliability and test effectiveness of the various systems, including accessing fixtures.
