Machining of nonmetallic materials with a tool made from diamond-containing rolled material

摘要
The use of tools made from diamond-containing rolled materials in grinding, finishing, cutting, and drilling of hard, brittle, nonmetallic materials is described. It is shown that grinding and cutting-off wheels, drills, and composite tapered tools can be manufactured from such rolled materials. Information is given on the conditions used and the results obtained in machining bases of thermal printing heads, hybrid printed circuits, glass diaphragms and capillaries, and base disks for laser sound recordings.
