SIMAT C is a new compact automation system tailored to suit the 310 process computer of the Siemens 300/16-Bit Systems. Basically, it is a combination of a system with fixed function components and a freely usable language aid similar to FORTRAN. SIMAT C contains standardized components for monitoring and control operations and for outputting messages. In the SIMAT C system, programming consists basically in inserting specific control data and parameters and/or control statements for the system in a dialog carried out between the user and the computer.
