摘要
The Ft. Payne Reef Trend in northcentral Tennessee is described as an up-and-coming area; an area where potential has yet to be fully developed. There are 21 producing fields in the Ft. Payne, with total production in excess of 6 million bbl. This figure is expected to increase steadily as more mounds, and possibly larger trends, are discovered. Although most activity has been in the trend's shallower fields to the north, the greatest potential is believed to be in the downdip to the southeast.
