摘要
ELVEC is a comprehensive electric and hybrid vehicle performance simulation computer program developed by the JPL under contract from the U. S. DOE. The program was written by the General Research Corporation under a contract with the Jet Propulsion Laboratory. It is available for general use on a national computer time-sharing network. The program is a general-purpose generic model of various components that can be assembled to simulate electric and hybrid vehicles. Results from the program can be formatted to accomplish parametric studies of various component values. Several different hybrid configurations with associated control strategies are available using the simulator. An optional flywheel model is included. Vehicle performance may be simulated over various driving schedules, constant speed, and maximum acceleration. Examples of program operation are included to compare the accuracy of predicting electric vehicle performance with actual dynamometer and track tests of several vehicles.
