摘要
The effect of soaking time during sintering of Co0.6Zn0.4Fe2O4 on the ferroelectric polarization was studied. There is a noticeable increase in the ferroelectric polarization with temperature for 4 h soaking time. Above 4 h, the number of Fe2+ ions decrease at the octahedral sites. The pronounced increase in Fe2+ at the B sites increases the ferroelectric polarization on the surface of the samples. The rising temperature increases the hopping mechanism of electrons between Fe2+ and Fe3+ ions which are available for polarization gains. The composition of Co0.6Zn0.4Fe2-xO4 where x = 0.2 was found to obtain the best ferroelectric properties for technological applications.
