摘要
A simple and reliable technique for the estimation of the relative position and heading of two cooperating mobile robots is developed. Each robot is equipped with a radio modem, a beacon, and a camera mounted on a pan-tilt unit. One of the robots has an additional rotating range finder, replaced on the camera's pan-tilt unit. The method developed determines both the positions and orientations of the robots.
